EucoLight welcomes Appliances Recycling SA from Greece as a new EucoLight member. With this new addition, the EucoLight family is now composed of 19 lighting WEEE compliance schemes and one affiliate.

Appliances Recycling SA is a take back scheme that organizes, operates and controls the collective system for the alternative management of the Waste of Electrical and Electronic Alternative Equipment (WEEE) in Greece. That includes coordinating the collection, transportation, temporary storage, separation and treatment of WEEE or/and their components. It has over 10000 WEEE Collection points throughout Greece and works with more than 35 transport companies.
Being trusted with the cooperation and affiliation of more than 55 companies/ producers in Greece in the lighting and lamps sectors, Appliances Recycling SA collected in the year 2017 more than 360 tons of lamps and lighting equipment achieving a recovery rate of over 90%.
